I didn't see tonight's game and I am SO glad I got tickets to last nights game instead of tonight's! WOW! I don't want to take anything away from the kid, but the Braves are a bit jet lagged just coming off that west coast road trip and not having any days off this early in the season. The Braves are better than this.

Wait, so you're saying you'd rather see your team win a meaningless game in April than be at a no-hitter?!

As a fan of a team that has finished the season tied for first place two years in a row, believe me when I say, no regular season game is meaningless.
Having said that, it does raise an interesting point to consider. I've been to plenty of my team's wins and losses, but I've never attended a no-hitter thrown by my team or by the opponent. I might take attending a no-hitter thrown against my team just to be a witness to that history. I was at the game last year during which Mark Buehrle set the consecutive batters retired record (the game after his perfect game) and that was certainly one of the more memorable games I've ever been to. On the other hand, it might also be just as memorable because we eventually managed to break his streak and win the game, so I'm not sure which side of this I'd come down on at the end of the day.

Yes. If the Braves where throwing the no-hitter I'd want to see that. I go to the games to see home runs, stolen bases and good fielding. I've never really been in to the art of good pitching games.

That's a joke right?
No, it's not. I am from Indianapolis where baseball is basically irrelevant. As a casual fan I love to see dingers and fast action. I live in Atlanta now and just lost my major league virginity last season.

Last night was great win, one of those they probably should not have gotten. Even though there's warts there's also a special feeling starting to develop around this team.
