There's one other Royals guy lurking around these parts. I'm sure you and him will make friends.
I actually use to follow KC for years. As a teenager I worked for their Class A affiliate. I would watch just to see if any of the players I knew would make the big show. Jeremy Affeldt is the only one so far.
