So is it officially offline draft? How did we decide the draft order? (said the guy picking last)

I'd still prefer online, pick a time and everyone has to stick with it. If you can't make it you get an auto-drafted team. In both the yahoo pools I've been in, including the RM pool two years ago I had an autodrafted team and still had plenty of fun with it.

Here's my availability if it still matters
Wed/Thurs/Fri: 9-5 est
Sat - 10-1pm est
Monday - 9am-midnight EST

In the other yahoo pool I was in last year, the organizer picks a time and you just have to be there or not. Plain and simple.
If you take this seriously you will cancel other stuff in your life to draft, or if you're like me you will still go to your nephew's 1st birthday rather than be online to draft a fake hockey team.

Now if we had money on the line, that would be a different story.

like I said before, if I can't be at the draft time that's selected, I'll drop out

yeah really. There is no money on this. If I miss the draft it's not the end of the world.

The Yahoo autopick really isn't that bad either. It'll hurt you for the hidden gems but thats about it.

And if you organize the order your autopick will even be closer to what you'd want, compared to if you just used the yahoo rankings for the autopick.

You can pre-determine players you really don't want (i.e. Marc Savard) so the auto-draft skips them.

All in favour of setting a firm (unchangeable) date/time for an online draft say aye?

Aye.

Great. To make things easy I officially rescind my available time. Plan the time for whenever and if I make it I make it, otherwise I'll accept what yahoo gives me.
