I think it's pretty simple regarding Lebron.....

During the Celtic and Bulls series, he hit some unbelievable shots, shots that Boston and Chicago WANTED him to take. He's Lebron James. he's going to make his fair share of outside shots, and he did more than that in those series. As the games go on, and you're asked to give 'A' effort on defense, and you're playing a rediculous 45 minutes a game, it wears on you, and his jumpshot left him as well as his legs, as it does to all players. I mean, all of a sudden he couldn't guard Jason Terry??? But fatigue is going to happen, the problem with Lebron is that he doesn't have a plan B on offense when his shot isn't falling, and when its not falling, he'll do things like pass the ball to Mario Chalmers when he has Barea on him. On the other hand, you have a guy like Dirk who can go 1 for 12 in one half, but then can go to 1-2 certain moves or spots on the court in the second half that can get him back into a rythme. Once Lebron is out of rythme, he can't get it back because he doesn't have a go-to move besides a jumpshot. He's move is being a physical beast, and that doesn't work in the playoffs, espeically the finals where refs won't call as many fouls in the paint.

When shots weren't falling for the greats, Jordan developed the fade away low post move, Kobe did the same, Bird crashed the boards when his shot wasn't going down, etc. When a coach puts Jason Kidd on you because he knows you won't take him down low, there's a big problem.

Yeah, it's mind boggling that LeBron hasn't worked with Olujawon yet when he's shown he's willing to work with pretty much any NBA star to develop a post game. Kobe got huge results from it (since he's Kobe) and Dwight Howard improved a lot this year after working with him in the summer. Maybe these finals will push LeBron to fill the holes in his game. If they don't, that's pretty sad.

not sure 'bout the 5-5, but the Lincoln reference should be obvious...

DeShawn was arrested for walking around outside at his friends' apartment complex drunk... according to him, his friends, and other residents he wasn't creating a disturbance... according to DeShawn, he was looking for his lost phone... word is that the cops were dicks to him, too... tight cuffs, talking shit, made him 'sleep it off' in the holding tank, and charged him a $400 fine... this all according to the local news broadcast...

sounds like the po-po-had nothing better to do last night.

I also know the Irving, Tx. po-po- can be quite agressive, and...

YOU, sir, deserve to be paralyzed.

here's your link...

http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/061511 ... toxication

be sure to pay close attention around 2:18...

yeah, what he did was straight up thuggin'... walking through his friend's apartment complex around 10:30pm after having a few drinks... not bothering anyone... in the beginning of the video the po-po-quote stated that DeShawn wasn't combative, agressive, argumentive...

do you have a link to his rapsheet? I know nothing about his personal life... you seem to know enough to wish for bad things to come to him. what has he done???

90% of the NBA has questionable character... if you check out the story, though, you'll realize that this arrest is questionable... and i don't give the po-po- the benefit of the doubt.

still waiting on that rapsheet, Red Mosquitoes!

He's definitely a better human being that LeBron James, and that's really all that matters to me.

This sounds right too. I was worried during those rounds because LeBron was hitting a higher percentage of jump shots and threes than normal. You could probably make a good argument that his off series against Dallas was merely a mathematic regression to the mean. Like Doc Rivers likes to say it's a make/miss league. You can get the exact same looks two nights in a row and be a hero one night, a goat the other. That said, you're exactly right that he needs to develop a plan b for WHEN the J isn't falling.

On the other hand, I’m irritated by all the moral tsk-tsking going on these days suggesting that it is somehow WRONG to Clemenate James or that it somehow diminishes us. This theme has been expressed by many, but was probably best summed up by my good friend Michael Rosenberg, who wondered what kind of country we live in where people have such rage for LeBron James (who, after all, only exercised his free-agent rights to play where he wanted to play) while celebrating Jason Kidd (who, after all, hit his wife). That bit of logic, it seems to me, sounds a whole lot better at first blush than it does when you spend some time thinking about it.

Hilarious. LeBron doesn't have a wife to hit yet, so how can you compare the two?

who said anything about posting a link? it's all over the place...you'll either choose to go look at it or you won't. i don't care.

I prefer the term poo-poo, and po-po is almost there... especially in Irving, Tx...

RMes: Way to back up your bold claim... especially after you called me out for vague references... and i backed them up...

BTW: It's responsible if you know where it's appropriate to cuss and talk shit... judging from my month on this board, cussing, talking shit, and demeaning seem to be the status quo... especially toward "nOObs"... I can take it... and be sure i'll serve back a heaping portion...
