at least their name change was easy to adjust too as everyone called them the Rays anyway...
BTW did you happen to catch that ESPN show on the Cubbies / Bartman last week? You might say Chicago fans dont blame him for the loss, but from what I heard, it sure seems like ESPN does LOL

I DVR'd it. I'll probably watch it tonight. My heart breaks for that guy every time I see footage of him from that game.

The Rays became a much more successful franchise after they altered their name. Maybe the Cubs should consider following.

You're right...afterall there's more Cubs bars in Iowa City than Hawkeye bars. They've also got the PBR market tied down.

It's a shame how many more people know that the Red Sox didn't make the playoffs than which teams won the AL or NL West, or Central divisions.
Why? Since the strike, 11 of 16 WS champions have come from the eastern divisions.
I'm kidding--this is actually a nice year because none of the playoff teams really backed in--they're actually the top eight teams numerically in the standings.

maybe hamels.
Heck, I'd probably rank Hamels above Cliff Lee.
Thats what I said. I think Cliff Lee is pretty overrated. Very Good pitcher, but overrated. Maybe I have a hard time with Sabathia because as a tiger fan, he hasn't dominated them. He's been pretty good, but not top ten pitcher amazing.
Interesting, he seems to have had trouble with the Tigers ...
