I heard Mike Stanton is going to become a singles hitter, just to avoid activating that thing.

I don't believe that for one second.

I read that. They're also claiming that the logo has been confirmed based on a supposed photo of seats, but writers down here are claiming they just toured the park a few days ago and that the picture is fake.

I call BS on this until I see something official.

I always kinda liked the Florida logo and colors. I hope it isn't true. BUT the article about the "supposed photo of the seats" actually says that "It looks like a seat or something". They aren't claiming that it is a seat, so it could, in theory, be something different.

This is probably as good of an opportunity as any to bring up the only time in the history of MLB that a stadium augmented the power of home team home runs in a tasteful and positive way:

Perhaps a certain Halloween costume can satiate your 80's appetite.

It could, and I tend to think that is the logo. It didn't look that horrible once those colors weren't there. But that dancing sprite fountain can't be real. It just can't.

I was laughing mostly because I was picturing that music being played over Tiger Stadium's PA. Knowing that it was a television thing makes it more charming than funny.

Should there maybe be a thread for these sorts of scoreboard/sports network things? I'd love that.
