Pretty nice article from Dan Wetzel if you haven't seen it.
Dan makes a case that if ESPN is going to broadcast this thing and make millions, the subjects should get a cut.
I just thought it was an interesting topic with so much debate over similar matters in college football.
I still kind of wonder if it would be legal to ignore a college scholarship pay ones own way and get whatever endorsements one wants, since the NCAA lets players do that in other sports.

While I am all for paying college football and basketball players, I think that Little League is a bit too early to start going down this path.
These kids should be happy to just be on TV. They can record it and keep it forever, and let's be honest - this is the only 15 minutes of fame that most of these kids are ever going to get!
