Los Angeles Galaxy 1-1 New England Revolution NE - Shalrie Joseph 1 (Marko Perovic 1) 3 LA - Juninho 2 (unassisted) 39 Referee: Hilario Grajeda Referee’s Assistants: Bill Dittmar, Brian Poeschel 4th Official: Ramon Hernandez Weather: Rain Attendance: --
GK – Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake): San Jose puts RSL under siege but Rimando salvages the 1-0 victory in the wind and rain with 10 saves.
DF – Danny Califf (Philadelphia): Not only did he have a goal but he made key defensive blocks. Marshaled his team to a big road win. DF – Jeff Parke (Seattle): Although his team finished with two losses, Parke made play after play along the Sounders back line. DF – Zach Loyd (FC Dallas): He's already played at left back for the US national team and showed he could do it for FC Dallas with an assist to boot.
MF – Juninho (LA Galaxy): The goals are less impressive than the fact that he knows exactly where to be. He’s only 22 and hitting his stride in MLS. MF – Teemu Tainio (New York): His experience, composure and decision making have already made an impact on the midfield after just one game. MF – Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake): It’s not just the goal. The captain helped will his team to a win under adverse conditions and circumstances. MF – Davide Chiumiento (Vancouver): Sure, he played only 45 minutes, but he was the creative force for all of Vancouver's attacks, showing No. 10 skills.
FW – Eric Hassli (Vancouver): Where will the goals come from, they asked? They forgot about the Frenchman, who capitalized on a shaky TFC back line. FW – Omar Bravo (Sporting Kansas City): His transition has appeared seamless. The Mexican showed DP-quality clinical finishing and knew exactly where to be. FW – Omar Cummings (Colorado): The Jamaican has picked up where he left off, terrorizing Rodney Wallace and the Timbers back line.
Manager – Ben Olsen (D.C. United): The Charlie Davies situation was not an easy one to oversee. Despite being the youngest manager in MLS history, his team is showing early signs of good chemistry.

Manchester United to return for 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game
NEW YORK — Time for the rematch.
Major League Soccer announced on Monday that storied English club Manchester United will return to the United States this summer to again face the best of MLS in the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game.
The Red Devils took on the MLS All-Stars in 2010, coming away with a 5-2 win in front of more than 70,000 fans at sold-out Reliant Stadium in Houston.
This year’s match will take place at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, July 27 (8:30 pm ET, ESPN2/Galavisión/TSN).
“We are pleased to host Manchester United again for our marquee summer event,” MLS Commissioner Don Garber said in a statement. “Our All-Star Game has become a true celebration of soccer, and our best players look forward to the challenge of competing against one of the top clubs in the world.”
The MLS players, of course, hope not only to compete with, but also to return to winning ways in the All-Star Game. Last year’s loss was the first for the All-Stars in seven matches against foreign competition. (The 2009 match was decided in penalties, with Everton besting the All-Stars thanks to a world-class performance by US international goalkeeper Tim Howard.)
But longtime Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who will be present for a live media event at Red Bull Arena on Tuesday (12:30 pm ET, live stream on MLSsoccer.com), seems already to be preparing for second consecutive win.
"We're delighted to have been invited to play the MLS All-Star Game for the second year running,” Ferguson said in a statement. “Last year's game was a special occasion in front of a noisy, passionate crowd. Obviously we'll be looking to repeat the performance and the scoreline."
Ferguson’s confidence is understandable. United, whose trove of superstars includes England international Wayne Rooney, Mexican striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, and Portuguese winger Nani, are arguably one of the most successful clubs ever. They have won the domestic league 18 times and have been crowned champions of Europe three times. In 2008, they lifted the trophy at FIFA Club World Cup.
The Red Devils currently sit atop the English Premier League table, five points ahead of Arsenal. United have also advanced to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, where they will face EPL rivals Chelsea, and to the FA Cup semifinals, where they will square up with crosstown rivals Manchester City.
Tickets for the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game will be available for purchase by Red Bulls season-ticket holders and plan holders on April 20 at 10 am ET. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on June 2 at 2 pm ET. For more information visit http://www.newyorkredbulls.com/tickets/allstarinfo or call 877.RBSOCCER.
NEW YORK – Week Two of the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week features a brand new XI compared to the first edition. The team of MLSsoccer.com editors, who cover every minute of all the MLS action, give you the top players at their respective positions.
Once again employing a 3-4-3 formation, this week's squad features two Real Salt Lake players who figured prominently in their club's 4-1 dismantling of the LA Galaxy.
GK – Tally Hall (Houston Dynamo): Hall has a history of playing big matches against his hometown Sounders and came through again with more than a few sensational stops as the Houston goal was under siege.
DF – Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew): Luke Rodgers and Mehdi Ballouchy were easy prey for Marshall, who showed off his expert defensive skills and canceled out NYRB's attackers.
DF – Drew Moor (Colorado Rapids): Chivas USA barely tested the Rapids' goalkeeper largely in part to the efforts of a back line led by Moor, who is ready to be included in the discussion of elite defenders in MLS.
DF – Alain Rochat (Vancouver Whitecaps): Moved from left back to center back against the Union and was equally effective with his positioning, tactical acumen and timely challenges.
MF – Javier Morales (Real Salt Lake): The Argentine picked apart the LA Galaxy in every way, using his vision, ball skills and goal-scoring abilities to lead RSL to a resounding win.
MF – Osvaldo Alonso (Seattle Sounders): Houston could not possess the ball partly because the Cuban was everywhere and snuffed out ball after ball. He also came close to scoring a few times.
MF – Brian Carroll (Philadelphia Union): After a down season in 2010, Carroll is reborn under his old DC coach. He was a central cog in everything the Union did against Vancouver.
MF – Marco Pappa (Chicago Fire): As the Guatemalan goes, so go the Fire. He had an inspired performance against KC with a sublime goal to boot.
FW – Paulo Jr. (Real Salt Lake): The buzz continues to grow around the young Brazilian who was dangerous with every ball he touched. Needs to see more time in 2011.
FW – Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes): Many doubted the 2010 Golden Boot winner could repeat. But elite finishing skills don't just disappear.
FW – Javier Martina (Toronto FC): He made the runs to put himself in position to score two fine goals. Arguably the most dangerous attacker under countrymate and manager Aron Winter.
Manager – Hans Backe (New York Red Bulls): Facing numerous important absences from his starting lineup, Backe assembled a squad featuring a new goalkeeper (Horwath, central defender (Keel) and forward (Rodgers) and used organization and shape to frustrate Columbus and earn a positive result.
Honorable Mentions: Jon Busch (San Jose), Josip Mikulic (Chicago), Jason Hernandez (San Jose), Shalrie Joseph (New England), Gastón Puerari (Chicago), Carlos Ruiz (Philadelphia), Steve Zakuani (Seattle)

Those are awesome game summaries. Where do you get them from?
I'm slowly getting caught up in the Whitecaps excitement. Once the weather takes a turn for the better I'll catch a handful of games. Learn the songs, swill the beer, and have a good time. I'll try ot include a swing by Seattle for a game just to compare gameday experiences.

Just mlssoccer.com recap of the matches, I just cut them down to size of info that matters.
