Now this is totally hypothetical because the thought of BYU making it to the Rose Bowl is a complete joke...

But what if BYU ever did make it into the Rose Bowl and January 1st fell on a Sunday. What now, Mormons??

I thought there were no bowl games on Jan 1 if it fell on a Sunday due to its conflict with the NFL?

Evidently, BYU refuses to play on Sunday. They'll forfeit a game if it falls on Sunday.

http://www.themwc.com/genrel/092099aad.html

However, they do effectively have a "BYU rule" where they'll reschedule a tournament game for BYU or any other team with a no Sunday rule.

Really, there is no issue, and Bammer simply failed to do any research (not real difficult to google this, which is what I did).

OK new question...doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose for BYU grads to play in the NFL? I mean, they're kind of pissing on their school and their religion when they go pro and play every Sunday aren't they?

What now, Mormons?

Just because you attended BYU doesn't mean you are Mormon...

But, some are directly descended from BY. Well, one. And he did do what Bammer said.

MONEY TALKS BAMMER, remember this, they make money on Sunday, and then they can use more of that to pay a bigger TITHING CHECK. ;)

This is correct Ruddo, but its a very very small minority that attend, but if you aren't Mormon you still have to abide by their HONOUR CODE.

Right but that small minority is probably all the student athletes they recruit. And once they leave BYU they don't need to follow shit. And if they aren't mormon, who gives a fuck if they play on Sunday?

Entering non-mormon is a small minority, but I bet you that the percentage of that small minority when Exiting is HUGE. Meaning when they leaving they probably become Mormon.

Also, BYU doesn't get the best Mormon athletes anymore, anyways.
