For me Bradley was man of the match along with Howard who made some amazing saves in the 2nd half to keep this in the win column. Dempsey has just got that killer instinct that nobody else on the team has. Jozy had his best game in a while. Goodson and Ream looked like a decent pairing in central defense...

The concacaf announcers were hilariously bad.......'like a fat kid likes cake' and 'wa wa wee wa' Borat style made appearances on their live stream....

Here is the vid of Clint's scorpion kikc. Nevermind the balls it takes to attempt this, but to put it on goal was impressive. Earned a corner but deserved more for the creativity and skill. The Canadian defender should have just stepped aside and let it happen because this would have been quite a goal...

I was like shit, if that went in, that would have been awesome, I mean still it was bad ass.

I hope Dempsey can move to a better club this summer. I dont want him going somewhere he wouldnt play, but a slight move up in the Premier League would be nice for him. It's good to see Jozy put a goal in early in the tournament, I thought the defense was good last night considering the unusual pairing, and I thought Jones and Bradley looked decent together.

I always thought Everton would be a good place for him. Fulham has been a great fit for him but I do feel his ambitions are for more.

That being said I'd kill if Everton got American investors and they subsequently went out and got Dempsey and Donovan.

I could actually see Liverpool as a good spot for Dempsey as well.

THURSDAY, JUNE 9TH
CHARLOTTE - Bank Of America Stadium
COSTA RICA vs. EL SALVADOR
CUBA vs. MEXICO.

Well looks like we'll have another blowout day tomorrow. But I think Ticos v. Salvies will be a closer game. But El Tri will totally dominate Cuba.

I don't want to be forced to remove him from my favorite athletes list.

Liverpool is my club bro. The more I think of it, this actually would be a good spot for him. Their midfield corps is notoriously injury prone, which would mean chances for Duece to show what he can do even if he is buried on the bench to start.

I don't know what Villa's midfield situation will be next season but Michael Bradley only got about 20 minutes of league play for them after his loan. Now, Clint is a far better player at this point but I still would like to see him getting minutes. At Liverpool i'd see him as a sub. His versatility will help him get time if he moves but as far as the EPL goes I feel as though he is about where he should be with a slight move up to Villa or Everton probably being the best chances to maintain a large role.

Now the Bundesliga could be different....

Its also a shame he has to play for a different coach every year at Fulham.

Alvaro Saborio (RSL) ;)

But at halftime, Costa Rica 0 - 1 El Salvador.

Zelaya earns a FK about 25 yards out and buries it top corner in the 45th minute.

Ream has proven hes not ready. I'm not saying it was the wrong call to give him a shot but he has looked to be someone who isn't international quality yet. I agree about Dempsey, the guy is in a whole different class than his teammates with the exception of Howard and Dolo. I've never been more disappointed with the team....
