I absolutely hate the fact that there will not be a single bowl game on New Years Day.

looks like the SEC will be continuing their streak in this travesty of a sham of a championship game.

ACC ACC ACC

I agree totally but in the massively corrupt world that is the bowl system, they basically took 2 fanbases in that game they knew they could get to travel.

The bowl system itself is massive horseshit. I wish we would just end this relic.

But they'll also lose the championship game!

June Jones to ASU? Loved watching his Hawaii offense, but this just feels like Dennis Erickson all over again. Needless to say the fan base, alumni, and boosters don't endorse this hire. The process has been a fiasco.

And he backed out as well. Officially embarrassing at this point for ASU.

I of course love it.

Isn't it that ASU backed off of him?

Yeah, I don't recall Jones backing off. They basically had a deal ready to be signed and the President of ASU took the offer off the table at the last second. The outcry of from fans and boosters made him buckle and take away the offer, even though one of the largest boosters was behind the Jones hire all along. This has turned into a disaster and the AD should be fired. I can't believe I'm actually a little jealous of UofA.

I have to say I've never seen ASU fans this passionate about anything in a long time. Too bad a lot of them won't show up for games.

Yeah, I misread the story initially. This is even worse for ASU.

How does a school intend to attract good candidates when everyone just watched them make a deal and then pull the rug out?

No kidding. I would like to see Pat Hill at ASU, but I've never heard his name mentioned.

That would be a great call. I'm still stunned that Fresno State fired him.
