A few thoughts on this year (mostly Big 12 stuff)...

- Nebraska in the Big 10 is going to be weird. I bet they lose a game or two to a lesser opponent just because the teams aren't familiar with each other.
- Oklahoma should not be number one. There is a very small chance they run the table in the new look Big 12.
- A&M is overrated.
- Kansas State, Kansas, and Iowa State will really struggle to win 6 games.
- An SEC will probably win the national championship again.
- An ACC team will lose in the Orange Bowl.

Missouri sucks :finger:

Thanks for that. Is it because we're not tree poisoners?

How I see the Big Ten shaking out (homerism included):

Annoyingly Named B1G Division 1
1. Ohio State
2. Wisconsin
3. Illinois
4. Penn State
5. Purdue
6. Indiana

Annoyingly Named B1G Division 2
1. Nebraska
2. Michigan St
3. Iowa
4. Michigan
5. Northwestern
6. Minnesota

You're insane.

They get Wisconsin, Penn St and Michigan State at home and avoid Iowa. Big schedule advantage provided they can survive the back-to-back road games at Nebraska and Illinois.

Oh, my comment had nothing to do with OSU football. It was just a commentary on OSU fans.

AP Top 25. I'm not trying to hate on the SEC here, but I just don't see those particular teams lasting that long in the rankings.

1.Oklahoma (36)
2.Alabama (17)
3.Oregon (4)
4.LSU (1)
5.Boise St. (2)
6.Florida St.
7.Stanford
8.Texas A&M
9.Oklahoma St.
10.Nebraska
11.Wisconsin
12.South Carolina
13.Virginia Tech
14.TCU
15.Arkansas
16.Notre Dame :shake: :shake: :shake: :shake:

The preseason AP Poll will always bring the lulz in about four or five weeks.

Pre-season polls are the reason some teams that aren't ranked in them but who eventually turn out to be really good have such a hard time moving up (or, if they do move up but happen to lose a game at the end, have such a hard time competing for a BCS bid). They're ridiculous.

Agreed, but then again so is Okie State. I hope to make it to that one and/or the Mizzou game this year.

Of all things to bash Boise on, I never would have guessed that they would pick the anti-idling campaign. At least they were able to turn a workable joke on it.

Nose bleeds in the Mizzou section. Tickets were pretty cheap so I went for it. Should be a lot of fun. Non-conference nationally televised games are usually a good time.

Question, which LSU QB has worse judgment?

Zach Mettenberger or Jordan Jefferson.

JJ had a pretty awesome Cotton Bowl, so if that's a sign of things to come, look out SEC.

The thing is, Jefferson is now in trouble for allegedly kicking a guy in the head in a bar.

Mettenberger the backup all he did was get kicked out of UGA for sexually assulting a girl in a bar which he was in drunk and underage with a fake ID.

The uniforms suck, but I actually really like the helmet.

Those are pretty wild. I typically like the classic looks better, and some of the combos are fugly, but I kinda like the gold pants / white jerseys:

I like the color combo too--i just wish they'd get away with the Arena League look with the fonts.
