Yes, the Giants played no role in forcing that fumble at all. All random. Pure chance.

Exactly.

But the thing they both share this season that they didn’t necessarily in 2007? Resilience. The Patriots of 2007 were so powerful, so overwhelming, they didn’t deal with a lot of on-field adversity (off-field? Different story).

The Giants did deal with it, as their three road playoff wins before Arizona showed.

The Patriots have had to build their character. In 2009, they were a malignant, unlikable team with little chemistry and maturity. In 2010, much better guys but they hadn’t learned mental toughness to the point where they were able to deal with in-game adversity. They were frontrunners.

This season? They’ve had to battle back from deficits in seven of 10 games during their winning streak. And the last team they couldn’t come back on, the one that out-resiliented them? The Giants back in Week 9.

On the outside these teams may not look much alike. But underneath the skin? The Giants and Patriots are mirror images.
Puh-leaze.

April did P90x. Kris lives in Canada and spells his name in the feminine manner.

I think April will be okay.

What? That Kris made comments like that throughout the season? Or do I agree with those sentiments? Yes and no. I think Belichick is clearly the best coach in the game and that you guys have the 2nd best QB of the last 15 years at the helm. I think Belichick is a master of getting maximum value out of everybody, but that it could possibly serve him better to have somebody with an equal voice when it comes to personnel decisions. I don't think the defense is horrible. But I do think the secondary sucks, and part of the Pats luck has been having the opportunity to draw Tebow and Flacco for a Super Bowl shot. And when you guys were fretting about the season I believe that multiple times I laughed at you guys, just wishing I could ever be worried about a team as good as what you were cheering for.

I honestly didn't mean the luck thing as an attack that the team doesn't deserve to be here; it's just an observation that they have gotten more than their share of breaks along the way. That doesn't mean the team isn't good. When the Colts won in '06 they were lucky to draw a team quarterbacked by Rex Grossman. This year Tebow was lucky in drawing the Dolphins, Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, injured bears, etc in his first run of games. It's nothing to apologize for, just an observation.

Whining about the referees or the other team being lucky truly is a loser's lament.

as a Bills fan, i have more right than anyone to complain about referees/luck.

to name a few instances: Music City Miracle, Sunday night game against Dallas, Monday night game against Pats, game against Browns, the entire 2011-2012 season...i'm going to stop there, this is painful.

however, shit happens. referees are always blowing or missing calls. i never look back at a loss and think it was the fault of an official. luck? if there was ever luck it was the MCM...or maybe bad officiating. nah, it was a great play-call that caught the Bills unawares.

there is no way the pats can cover nicks-cruz-manningham

the giants dl will may not shut down brady but theyll slow him down

the pats hardly beat anyone good all season

giants are fire right now

actually i think this giants team is better than the one that beat brady before, and that pats team is nowhere as good as the 18-0 team

i like the gints over the pats

only thing brady has going for him is the revenge factor from last time
