its nice to find something that distracts me from the Pats last pick. i can only hope he's another Sea Bass Vollmer, rather than Taylor Jacksonville Price.

I love the offensive talent the Colts have collected, but is drafting a bunch of skill players the best way to rebuild a team from near scratch?

A 26 year old center from Baylor? They already have a 25 year old center from Baylor....

Love the Steelers trading up for Alameda Ta'amu. There's your Casey Hampton successor.

Lamar Miller in the 4th is a steal.

Alfonzo Dennard to the Pats in the 7th. Good job again, Belichick.

Dennard seems a bit short, but I like the pick. I wonder if Bill will go D on the last pick, too. Just because.

Couldnt have asked for much better of a draft from the bucs, first 3 picks just knocked it out of the park, and the slight trade down in the first set them up to trade up into the first and then into the 2nd to make all those picks. And their last 4 have a real good shot of making the team, and you cant ask for much more from a 5th, 6th and 2 7ths. Cant wait for camps to start to see how these guys look

Looking at the draft slates by each team, I can't really pinpoint any team that really hit it out of the ballpark or really tanked it, but I generally like what the Colts, Cowboys, Dolphins, Eagles, Cardinals, Pats, and Lions did. I'm not a fan of the later picks the Redskins and Jaguars had, the Rams draft is a big time boom or bust one, and I'm still stoked that the Chiefs didn't do well, as I see them as the biggest threat to the AFC West crown. The Broncos' draft is striking me a quite average right now--I feel they could have done better but they didn't do horrible, either.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Both the Packers and Pats used their first six picks on defensive players.

seriously tho, i guess depending on tannehill (who im really skeptical of).. i guess i dont hate the guys they got.. id like the draft A LOT if they still had bmarsh.. how in the hell, when your 1-2 wrs are bess n hartline, do you wait til the last 2 pics to get wrs??!!

altho a couple of my buddies are huge fans of tannehill.. they keep telling me how hes the steal of tge draft n will be way better than rg3.. said that he shoulda been a qb every year but university politics prevented it

The Rams strike me as a team that even if their draft doesn't pan out, they tried. They went after players who will have a big impact on the team and went heavy after their needs. The Browns draft on the other hand I find confusing. They still have the worst WRs in the league and waited until the 4th round to get one? How can you evaluate either QB if he has no one to throw to?

Was looking at the results again and I agree with Kiper that the best drafts were Vikings, Bengals, Bucs and Eagles (goddammit.) But as always we're probably all wrong about anything we say right now.

i'm still shocked the Pats used their picks the way they did.

traded up twice, for pass rush help.
drafted a player in the 2nd that was rated as a 7th rounder, then drafted a 7th rounder that was at one point considered a 2nd rounder.
traded a 2nd for a 3rd & 5th w/ the Packers, then traded that same 5th for a 6 & two 7s w/ the Packers AGAIN.

i like the players they got, but i'm just surprised at how it played out.
