Tavon Wilson School: Illinois Position: S Bio: Three-year starter who finished with 81 tackles/1 interception/5 pass breakups as a senior after posting 48/1/7 the prior year. Positive: Feisty college safety with marginal size/speed numbers for the next level. Displays fluid movement skills, the ability to go sideline to sideline and a burst to the action. Works to keep the play in front of him and fights to break up throws. Aggressive defending the run or screen passes. Negative: Easily disrupted by blocks. Struggles in man coverage situations and cannot stay with receivers out of breaks. Occasionally bites on play-action passes. Analysis: Wilson was solid on the college level and will be a serviceable player at the next level if he performs well on special teams.
I really hope this doesn't say something about their confidence in Manning's neck. I was thinking 4th round earliest for a QB and not looking for a replacement (which I don't know that he is) until the next draft or two.

I don't think it does--regardless of where you draft a QB, the ideal scenario is to have him fit behind Manning for 4 years. Still, we agree that 4th round would have been ideal for a developmental QB. There are still plenty of defensive needs--I wanted Brandon Boykin at that spot.
