The draft is doing a really shitty job of getting these picks out the door. Three picks and a trade are already in the queue....

i'm guessing the Jets want Martin. i'm wrong again.

i'm thinking the Pats trade their next pick for a pick later tonight and a pick tomorrow. and then get secondary help w/ their second 2nd rounder.

I find it telling that they announced him as a tackle. I say no way, he should be a guard.

I have not heard of the guy the Chiefs just drafted. And I like the Rams draft aside from the Quick pick, but they needed a big WR I guess.

Dang, Marshall and Jeffrey on the same team is going to be scary--that is, if their O-line can keep Cutler from hitting the deck.

I also think height is a little overrated for WRs. I'd rather have a 6'1" guy who runs great routes and has YAC ability than a 6'4" guy who's really stiff and possession only.

i just noticed that both of the Patriots picks were Juniors (redshirts, but still not 4-year starters).

also, could it be that they (the Pats) used both picks b/c nobody would trade into next year w/ them?

i think it's likely they just saw the draft as (relatively) top-heavy. they signed a lot of guys who could round out the roster (45-53 guys) in FA, probably because the draft wasn't as deep as they'd prefer.

if we had gone into the third w/ our draft, i was going to say that Kendricks was a player i really liked. he seems like a "little-ball of hate."

i was thinking that also, but i'd like to think that the other 31 teams colluded to end the reign of "trade down belichick."

George Iloka seemed like the logical safety choice. I'm stumped, too.
