I'm really glad that baseball, being the game with the most significant home-field advantage, doesn't have some hokey way of determining home-field advantage for a potential game 7 of the World Series.
No kidding.

Innings 1-7 was fucking dreadfully sloppy horrid baseball.
7 on was brilliant. That said, the Cardinals win tonight and people continue to talk about La Russa as some kind of genius from here on out. Way to go David Freese....
Didn't here the call in the 11th. Did Joe Buck say.... and we'll see you tomorrow night! ?? Because he should have.

Was just talking with a friend the other night, how game 7 of the WS is the greatest sports event. He of course being the big NFL'er said no way the Super Bowl...
Im pretty sure I just watched a Game 6 that beat out just about every Super Bowl.
nothing like Bonus Baseball
the greatest sports event is game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals
that being said, the World Series would be a close second

Gotta hand it to Tony LaRoo and the Cards... they went 8-2 against the Phillies and Brewers down the stretch, and from 9 1/2 back at the end of August to catch the Braves and get in. went 7-4 against the Phillies and Brewers in the playoffs and took care of the Rangers to win it all

One of the best postseasons I've ever seen. Simply incredible.
for as good as the postseason was, nothing beat the last night of the regular season.

Game 6 of the WS sure gave it a run though.
oh no doubt, but I still think Game 6 fell just short. even being a WS game.
that's just my opinion, though
