I play in a local mixed 3-pitch league now that I don't have time for baseball anymore. I still dive for balls and stuff because it's way more fun to make nice plays than it is to jog for it and pick it up on the hop. I don't, however, get upset in any way when things don't go right. There are way too many people who take it too seriously and slide spikes up and sound like Serena Williams every time they swing the bat.

yeah, thats how ive settled in... I still love making a nice catch in the outfield (especially against the guys who grunt when they swing) Independant baseball really took a hit when the gase prices soared... just made it so expensive to travel for weekend games when youre footing the bills.
