Speculation is 3rd. Makes the most sense based on the rest of the team.
Yea from what I recall reading yesterday, Ramirez says he's perfectly happy to move to 3rd base if it means they sign Reyes. Which of course, now I write that out it's one of those "well what did you expect him to say?" kind of things But hey ya never know.
This is a mock up from a web site and not the official uniforms, FYI.
Yep.

Rumor is if the Marlins make an offer to Reyes it'll be a 3 year deal with a lot of money per season. Something along the lines of 3yrs/$60-70m.

That would make their payroll... what, triple what it is right now?
Well Hanley will be making $15m and JJ about the same next year. But yeah, that'll be quite a jump. Especially when you pair it with Buerhrle and the Cuban dude who we'll be signing.

$20M for Reyes seems like something the Mets would match... good strategy Miami.

Lol.
Well you figure he'll be deciding between 6-7 years at $16-17 million or 3 years at $22 million or so with the chance to hit free agency again in his prime. It's an interesting tactic if nothing else.

Edit again: Either today or tomorrow. ESPN says today, AP, MLB says tomorrow.
