I was dead wrong about the Thunder's supporting cast compared to the Heat's. Mike Miller, wow. Have to admire that kind of effort for a guy in so much pain.
Congrats to the Heat. Some may put an asterisk next to this year due to the lockout shortened season, but the Heat played their best when they needed to.
Somehow I don't think this will be the last time the Heat and Thunder meet in the finals.

Good point about the lockout. There's no way I can take this championship seriously.

I'm so happy right now.
I wish my favorite team winning could make me happy, but alas life has left me broken... incapable of true happiness or sadness... just numb... gray... waiting for death.
But I'm glad you're happy.

This will be the year Lebron wins a title. Then people will say it doesn't count because it wasn't a full season.

Yes! Forgot about the lockout. Thank you! LeBron is still terrible.

I just remembered that Lebron and Durant are going to be teammates in a couple of weeks. USA Basketball is always so fun to watch and hear stories about their egos.

LeBron is a decent human being. The last time I checked, he has not raped or killed anyone. He has been with the same woman since high school and doesn't have any children outside that relationship. Besides "The Decision," he actually seems pretty genuine.
But, I hate being told someone is the best at something. It's so subjective. And for the last 10 years, we have all been force-fed that he is THE BEST. It's like being told Sarah Jessica Parker is pretty because everyone puts her on the cover of their fashion magazines.
So I guess that's my point: LeBron is a decent person AND he's the Sarah Jessica Parker of the NBA.

I wouldn't instantly assume he hasn't raped or killed anybody, brother.

It surely looks that way.

I felt like that embrace between Durant and Lebron was truly genuine. I'm looking forward to what they each add to their game in the offseason and how they play in the Olympics.
Also, was Wade's list of injuries ever released?

No reason to think it wasn't. Reportedly they are good friends, work out together in the offseason, etc. Durant has defended LeBron and pointed out all the ways they're similar whenever people talk about him being the anti-LeBron.
I don't think so. I'm sure he'll leak it at some point, though.

Miami Heat 9-0 in the playoffs this year after falling behind in a series.

Congrats to Lebron he grew up a bit and lived up to his talent. He'll only be more dangerous going forward. Still I think Lebron haters will have plenty of good times ahead. I really don't think Wade is gonna age gracefully and Bosh will always be in and out of the line up. With the new CBA really kicking in over the next few years adding talent will be tough. Going over the cap won't really be an option and there are only so many low salary veterns to go around. Unless they really draft well which is tough where they'll be picking. Lebron's gonna have to do it himself and that's gonna be tough especially if he never really gets a jump shot. Eventually he'll run into a team that can play zone.
I think zone defense is the way of the future for the NBA. We had a nice little offensive push in the NBA the last few years, now back to defense and physical play. Make everyone hit their jumpers. Of course, when this happens the NBA will outlaw zone again. Strange that no teams have really tried a pressure zone. With the deterioration of fundamental skills in the NBA, seems to be a perfect time for a team to come out with a Nolan Richardson/Razorbacks type zone. Would be fun to watch.
Mavs zoned him up last year and we saw what happened. Thunder never comminted to it. Most likely with the shortened season they didn't have the time to really practice it.
