You know, now is a better time than ever to be a fan of an MLS team, unless...
that team that you are a fan of is the Revolution. They are such a pathetic reminder of what MLS used to be that I find myself watching less and less MLS each year as the league gets better and better.
Playing at Gillette Stadium does them no favors either. There are some really cool soccer specific stadiums in MLS now and the Revs definitely don't have one....
I remember when RFK Stadium was one of the best MLS stadiums in the league, now it's the fkkn worst. And DCU signed a new lease through 2013.
Doesn't Montreal play at that old dump the Expos used to play at? That can't be anything special either....
DCU deserves better than RFK. Must be reasons they are stuck at RFK I guess.
Yes and No, their NASL stadium is being renovated and expanded and will be done summertime. So they'll play first few games at Olympic Stadium.

Yeah, and they will never have one as long as Bob Kraft owns the team. Kraft might be the man in the NFL, but he is by far the worst owner in MLS and the 2nd worst owner is miles ahead of him. I'm still waiting for the Revs to use the Clint Dempsey transfer money.

The Revs really put it on L.A. tonight. No Landon Donovan, but I still say this Galaxy team is going to struggle this year. They've already lost more games at home than they did all of last year I believe.

The Revs looked better last night than they have in a long time. They hired Heaps only because he was the cheapest possible option, but maybe they'll get lucky and he'll turn out to be a good coach.

I wish Benny and Landon would have played. Not sure if Becks picked up a knock in the first half or just said fuck it at half. L.A. just looks like a really shallow team this year and the back four needs help. Omar Gonzalez is proving to be a huge loss...

Beckham was getting awful service the first half hour or so and it looked like he just mailed it in after that.

So I watched the Red Bulls get totally thrashed today by DCU. I've seen kids getting stuffed into lockers put up more of a fight than their back four did today. Rafa was out suspended because he is and always has been a dirty thug and a piece of human garbage. Henry had a sweet free kick goal.....but man can the Red Bulls really stink up the place when they want to.
Meanwhile, the Fire and Toronto played a really entertaining match Saturday. Glad Chicago is back to respectability and am looking forward to hitting Toyota Park a few times this year.

Good to see Juan Agudelo traded off the pink cows. Hans Backe had no clue how to bring him along and he should have a chance to develop his game now with regular minutes....even if it is for the Goats.
