i'm just thinking the financial risk is nowhere close to what it was, and the kid will have to understand this upon signing a contract.
There isn't only financial risk to consider. Even if you have the guy on a minimum contract, if he gets suspended and your depth at the position is poor, you're really screwed.

I'm consulting with Doc about this pick. Will make it soon.

Very nice. I wonder what LeGarette Blount will think about having a teammate from the team that embarrassed his college career.

Am I crazy for liking Martin more than Richardson? He really impressed me last year, especially the bowl game.

Sigh. I was stunned he fell this far, yet I knew there was no way he would last to #57, and after the Alphonso Smith debacle I don't think EFX would have had the guts to give away what it would have taken to trade up this far.

The rich get richer in our mock draft....

i thought about him at #27, but took the chance of landing him at #31, and then you made your offer so i rolled the dice again.

I wanted to trade down and take Barron or Kirkpatrick later in the first but got no offers. I fully expect the Cowboys to try to trade down in the actual draft.

Agreed, I'm worred about his hands, but he graded out an 86 with Mayock and he's ridiculously athletic and fast as a deep threat. I just think he's going to be RAW and I think he's probably going to need a year or two of work to get his hands right. That said, this kid went from a likely 4th rounder to a possible 1st rounder in 2 months of work and he chose Georgia Tech as a place to go to school. So I don't think he's going to have an issue with work.

My question now.... can the QB at Jacksonville actually get him the ball because if he can, and MJD comes back happy. I love him to be the deep threat option in Mularky's Play Action offense in his early years and perhaps a #1 Roddy White type after year 3.

So we got the Rams WR and O-line help...what's their next need? I know they have tons of needs, but I'm actually drawing a blank on what the most urgent one might now be.

If they got a lineman in the 1st they should probably be finding weapons in the 2nd and 3rd.

They need playmakers everywhere. I'd go best player available really offense or defense.

What about Dwayne Allen or Orson Charles?
