USA vs. Argentina 4pm ET.

This is going to be a scrappy battle. I'm nervous.

This is the only Olympic event in which i'm not pulling for the United States of America.

Kobe is gonna be too busy texting Dwight Howard from the bench to worry about this game.

I have almost zero patriotism so the fact that i'm pulling for America at all should be noted and appreciated.

Well, good for you, lenny.

I remember watching USA lose to Argentina in 2004. And then watching all the nations losing their shit and congratulating Argentina. Yeah, never again.

I almost feel the same way about the women's soccer team. Hard to root for those bitches sometimes. Some of the self righteous stuff Hope Solo was saying after the Gold medal win was ridiculous. Somebody should tell her that there are MAYBE four other countries who give a shit about women's soccer enough to field a competitive team and that their style of play she likes to brag about is still barely watchable in my opinion.

The shit she said in the studio after the win would have pissed me off to no end if I were her teammate. She essentially said that this is the first team she has been on that felt like a team. Weren't most of those women on her past Olympic/World Cup teams?

Thats actually pretty funny coming from her. She is the same person who had this to say after losing to Brazil and not being in the starting lineup:

Supposedly her teammates completely froze her out after this, and rightly so. You never throw a teammate under the bus like that to the media. I've always thought she was a complete bitch since that day.

I called my pops after the game. He says, "America is too arrogant. Spain was more deserving."

What the hell is with you people? They're arrogant because they're good? They came in and did their job respectfully. They proved that in the game of basketball they're still the best. It probably doesn't help that my father hates Lebron James with a deep rooted passion, but come on, this isn't the NBA playoffs.
