That the second placed man isn't included is a goddamn shame. Also, he will probably be number one again very soon.

me too, espceially since he always took a sack instead of throwing the ball away. I used to call it the "Kenny Crumble".

Yeah I think he had the record for most times sacked in a season. I'm not sure if someone else held the record in between but I think David Carr has that honor now.

Randall Cunningham held it before Carr.

Wow. How high do you think Roethlisberger would have been if he didn't cough it up in the AFC championship game?

(sorry, I just had too) ;)

I know

The stats are from the regular season though.

For the playoffs, Brady was quite a bit higher on the list.

i consider this to be an important stat as far as considering who the greatest QB of all time is, so i was quite suprised to see john elway at #39 because alot of people consider him to be the greates QB of all time.

atleast the other most mentioned as greatest are in the top 10 montana, marino and farve

Quite true.

I consider Elway to be a top-ten guy...but many say that he often played three bad quarters and then one excellent quarter.

Statistically, Elway and some would say Brady do not add up. But as far as being clutch or winning, they do.

I like to use BOTH statistics and winning as the best way to judge a QB.

Elway and Brady are fine in both categories because of their winnings, while guys like Marino are boosted by stats.

I think both are important.

But it isn't like Marino didn't win in general. Sure he never one the Super Bowl, but he does have the second most wins for a qb all-time, just 1 win behind Elway.
