Down goes Kyle Korver....BULLS SAVE $500k and now can offer a mini mid level exception to a free agent but won't. Also, the rumor is they plan to match Asik. Although i'm not sure what the Rockets plan is if they are still going hard after DUHWight....30 mil ties up in the center position?

That 2012-13 financial championship is well within our grasp!!!!! GO BULLS!!!!

So the Rockets got their man in Jeremy Lin. Now all the Bulls need to do i decline the offer on Omer Asik and Houston can have 50 million dollars tied up in OMER ASIK AND JEREMY LIN. Seriously, what is going on there? Lin especially is going to be exposed this year....

it's still an expiring contract though, so not terrible for Houston. For New York I think that 3rd year is just south of 60 Million with the luxury tax

Lin will probably end up starting at PG for the West all stars with the Chinese fan vote. Sorry CP3...

I'm curious how our resident Knicks fan feels about the Jeremy Lin saga.

Why not just let ESPN tell us how stupid he is for taking the money offered too him rather than sleeping on couches to play in the "basketball mecca" that hasn't won a damn thing in 40 years?

Re: Lin not playing in the Heat/Knicks series
Quote:
"Every single vet on our team that has been in the league longer than five years pulled me aside and told me that I shouldn't play," Lin told Sports Illustrated. "And I had arguments with them about why I should."

Courtney Lee to the Celtics, who are acquiring quite a bit of talent in the off-season.

Yeah, its a nice move by Ainge. Boston didn't have much cap space and still maneuvered to get it done. The Bulls have openly loved this guy for the last few years. They signed Vlad Radmanovic instead.......

Camps are open. Exhibition games are being played. Will your team soar to greatness or crash into the lottery?

With their defense they will be in the playoffs. The second round is about as far as they'll get though.

Agreed. Watched their preseason game last night and they shot something like 1 for 27 in the fourth and still won. Their ability to play hard nosed D will keep them from being bad, but even when Derrick gets back it won't be enough.

Regular season man, relax. Basketball doesn't even start until January (or more accurately the playoffs). D Rose will be back by the time it matters.

Interesting article about elite defenses laying off on offensive rebounds.
