Saw Harden play a few times at ASU. Never thought he would be this good in the NBA.

seems pretty effective to me

We will see. One game he did great but let's see the long haul

37 pts in his debut, 45 in his second game

Second most points by a player in first 2 games to start a season behind MJ.

it seems it will beat Lin's record easily.

So, will Amare come off the bench when he comes back?

i was just thinking about this last night. if Woodson is smart he will do it. however, last year before Amare was to come back from an injury he said he would not be coming off the bench. it's only three games in but i can tell the team is buying into Woodson's defense, spacing, and team ball. Amare is a terrible defender, and he will just kill the spacing on the floor. he is a great pick and roll guy though.

the starting line-up right now is awesome. two point guards and Melo playing power. oh, and i love that the Bulls let Brewer go.

Saw Ronnie Brewer with a nice double double for the Knicks last night. I miss him already. Getting pumped to watch Belenelli, Nazr Mohammed Vlad Radmonavic and the new bench mob versus the Magic tonight....

They should make him come off the bench but he'll never agree to it. He could be a great leader of a second unit, but he's too proud.

Westduck was terrible, Thunder turned it over all night and the Bulls couldn't get the win at home. They fought hard I guess. Is it March yet?

Wait, so they went from Mike Brown (famous for coming up short)

to Mike D Antoni (famous for.... garbage defense and coming up short)

Ok.......

I'm cautiously optimistic. The Knicks actually had a pretty good defense under him last year with Chandler before he was canned. Woodson can be responsible for some of that but having Dwight will really help with the Lakers. He will just pick and roll teams to death on offense which is what this team should have been doing in the first place.

Should have went with Phil. What does Dantoni intend to do with Dwight I wonder? He has never had a post presence on his team...or even seemed to want one

Phil was asking for too much and basically trying to stick it to Buss. I just can't believe they fired Brown without someone ready to step in.

You need your coach on the bench for away games, no doubt. Why you would hire Mike Brown in the first place is the million dollar question. Lebron openly defied that guy, what did they expect with Kobe and the rest of the L.A. stars

i definitely shook my head with his hiring, but i work in IT so im not one to question it

im not sure what to believe about phil...was he asking for a lot or are people just saying that so that they can justify picking Mike? i dont think defense will go out the window....the current lakers who have won before knows thats what wins championships and i just cant fathom kobe ever relaxing on defense.

I know Kobe will be great though, I'm worried about everybody else.

i think gasol and metta will be ok, dwight too. all nash has to do is funnel the opposing pg to the lane. if he can do that....

I don't see where Gasol fits into his offensive scheme. Seems like too many big bodies clogging the lane to run a dynamic pick and roll type of offense.

They'll see how it all plays out but I bet they trade him for some athletic, 3 point shooting wings before the deadline. Maybe a backup point guard that is worth two cents too.
