It seems like all of you should be talking about the Houston Texans more.

i still think the coach insures an early exit from the playoffs.

That does seem to be a common thing I'm hearing...don't know enough about Kubiak to comment about his game management, but is it that conservative that it could ultimately cost his team a Super Bowl?

I'm not sure that I buy Kubiak being the only thing keeping them from a deep postseason if only because of the talent on both sides of the ball.

Agreed. Despite its recent wins, it does seem that Houston is beatable in the postseason.

he's conservative and has been terrible under pressure in the past, especially with clock management.

I know it's the wrong forum, but my tour of that city was so great.

They took me to Mark's restaurant the first night, Anvil Bar the next evening for a night cap and I had lunch at Irma's on the way out of town.

If anyone is going to catch a Texans, or Astros or Rockets or Dynamo game or why ever you're in Houston, those places were freaking excellent.

I think Kaepernick gives the 49ers the best chance to beat the Patriots (and their terrible deep ball defense). I was thinking of this in reference to the Super Bowl initially, but I guess this gets tested later in the season.

So... yeah, pretty good game last night if you like defense.

beat Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, RG3 etc... this year. Nah, they haven't played anybody.

8 interceptions versus Manning and Brees, this beat up secondary is vastly underrated.

I'd counter with the fact they got 5 INTs off of Brees and could still only put up 23 points at home against a shitty defense

I'm still betting on almost anyone who goes into Atlanta come round 2

Since that first quarter vs. the Broncos, I've had high respect for the Falcons Pass D. The D would be scary if they could play the run like they play the pass.

I wonder if they will do an autopsy on this guy and find roids in his system? More interesting yet would have been if he suffered a concussion last week. Was this in arrowheads parking lot? Gonna be some awkward tailgating tomorrow for the fan that ends up there.

Costas with the gun control talk at halftime. That should ruffle some feathers.

Sorry. :( I could have easily given a warning, as well--he got suspended his entire sophomore year at BSU and showed plenty of classic WR diva signs. It did not surprise me at all when he was the first one to abuse the NFL's new rule allowing generational suffixes by changing his jersey to "YOUNG SR.".

He's basically been kicked off the team for being a jerk. The Sunday before thanksgiving he was intentionally lining up in the wrong place to try and force the throw to him.

"Should McElroy start?"

"The Jets QB controversey thickens"

Who gives a shit?! They're not doing anything this year anyway!

Fricken media. Good lord.
