He's led a third-year expansion team to 3-3, and has his players playing decent football.

If the Texans do a nosedive and, say, go 2-8 for the rest of the season, then maybe. But that doesn't seem likely to me.

I agree with this post. Francona's no allstar manager, but he's done a fine job this post season and definitely will not be getting fired.
