Yeah, I've already written that upset off. I doubt many people wagered much on that game, though.

A few tough choices this week. I gave 13 confidence points to Baylor over UL-Monroe because I think that the silliness has to stop with that team eventually. However, is Baylor the team to do it?

Also, that Mizzou/South Carolina game has given me trouble...as well as ND/Michigan.

South Carolina will cover.

Big one on Saturday...ABC primetime, College Game Day, top 10 match up.

This is what the ACC should have been the last few years. FSU and Clemson (Va Tech / Ga Tech and maybe Miami) should all be consistent top 20 teams. I hate FSU, but the ACC has been lousy for years, and it's good for for the conference on the national stage that FSU and Clemson are top 10 teams. Hopefully this is will be the norm for the coming years.

I know FSU has tons of hype, especially on D, but I feel Clemson is not getting respect on the O side. If these guys are clicking, putting up 40+ points is pretty much a given. FSU hasn't faced an Offense as good as Clemson's yet this season, and Clemson hasn't faced a D as good as FSU's. It'll be interesting to see who wins this battle. Right now, FSU is allowing opponents to run about 55 offensive plays a game. Clemson is averaging 80 offensive plays a game. Since FSU has crushed everyone, their starters haven't played much more than 30 snaps a game on D. If Clemson's offense gets going, they just might be able to wear down FSU's D.

For me, what might be more interesting is FSU's O, vs. Clemson's D. This match up might end up determining the winner. The Tiger's D has been suspect by giving up large amount of yards per game, but...They have held opponents to 22% conversion on 3rd down, and they haven't had a RedZone TD scored against them. So while total yardage (chunk plays) are a concern, the actual scoring defense has been great.

I think both FSU and Clemson have a great D, and O respectively, but on the flip side, both teams have weaknesses. It would not surprise me for Clemson to pull off the upset, but I don't know if I'm truly feeling it. The homer in me says Clemson wins, but the realist says FSU 38 Clemson 30. I hope I'm wrong!

I'm becoming a huge K-State fan this year.

South Carolina will cover.

Each of these picks was a wise move for washing machine.

Now, let's talk A&M/Arkansas. Will Arkansas's complete ineptness on the field this year extend to a newcomer to SEC football?

be mindful of the QB situation at Arkansas, but all signs point to that team being a complete and total greasefire.

I gave the lackluster Coogs a bold 15 confidence points this week against crosstown rivals Rice University at Reliant Stadium. I can't wait for that otherwise meaningless game.

This is just delicious.

Too bad Sam isn't still around to discuss this. Apparently it's enough of an issue to require a PSA.

I can't wait for the followup, yall shouldn't make and drink moonshine mmmmkay

Watching the Sun Devils again now that Erickson and "thugball" are gone. A nice start to the season.
But after next week (Colorado) their schedule gets a lot tougher with Oregon, UCLA, Oregon State then USC.
Seems like they are forever destined for the Holiday or Sun Bowl.

Awesome win by Texas last night. Our rushing attack is sick. We were reeling off 8+ yard gains all night.

I want to pick WVU, Florida, and Arkansas to pull off upsets this week. Should I?

They've got to win sometime, right? No one else in my league is going to pick them. I could luck into a cool 4-5 point gain towards my weekly total.
