35 bowl games? Really? 7 Big Ten teams playing in bowl games? Are you serious?

And why are there so many non BCS-bowl games after Jan. 1st?

College football is becoming dead to me.

I know an NIU alum who is going to the Orange Bowl. What a wasted trip that will be. Huskies got beat by IOWA!! Even a flawed FSU team should smash them.

This is probably a once in a lifetime deal for NIU. Even if a loss is certain (and i don't think it is), why not go and enjoy the experience?

And they barely lost to Iowa. In week 1. Lots has changed since then.

In a stunning coup, Arkansas will hire Wisconsin's Bret Bielema as its next football coach, Yahoo! Sports has learned.

Bielema, who has taken the Badgers to three straight Rose Bowls, was nowhere on the radar amid months of speculation over who Arkansas would hire.

An announcement will come Tuesday, sources told Y! Sports, but Bielema is not expected to be introduced until Wednesday.

What makes Bielema think his "get a bunch of fat lineman and run the ball" style is going to work in the SEC? Also, does he really think he will outrecruit Saban and Miles when he is already getting killed by Urban and Hoke? I bet Saban is having a good laugh about this...

yeah, you really did

cam newton won a title with that offense, not gus malzahn. and the club of coaches who can't do worse than chizik is hardly exclusive.

well the whole get a bunch of fat lineman and rub the ball is exactly what alabama does. seems to work for them.
