well, I don't know any of today's hardcore bands but in my wild days we use to listen to the exploited.. old english hardcore band... as well as discharge.. and a few others.. like bad brains.

Maybe you should check them out if you like hardcore. they come from the roots of that genre.

108 did some awesome covers of a couple Bad Brains songs.


what was amazing about bad brains is that I don't think I had ever heard a group of african americans playing that type of music or even close to that!

They were Rastafarians right?

They were into jazz fusion and reggae before getting into the hardcore scene

oh yeah. They were rastafarians . But they were divided about the music. 2 of them wanted to dedicate to reggae only and it caused a lot of dispute within the band.

i talso think they are the fastest hardcore band. I don't think anybody beat them in speed LOL

but they got into rastafarian religion after seeing bob marley live.

probably the only hardcore band that could really play guitars.... and the fastest..
