No, not the shitty live album
This song is one of the best openers for any album, ever. The drum beat and bass riffs are awesome, Robert Plant sings about far away exotic places, but the crowning achievement goes to Jimmy Page and his amazing guitar and production skills. Rarely do you hear more varied and beautiful tones than on this opening song. The guitar lines are simply awesome. Marked the end of blues Zep and beginning of something totally new and awesome.
Just thought it needed some praise

You've gotta love it when Page gathers a guitar army and piles five or six guitars onto one track. Mwah.
That is such an unbelievable song, from a guitarist's perspective. He is such an imperfect guitarist in such a perfect way, the way he can create so much drama in the music with that "on the edge of danger" way he plays.. He was also innovative on HOW he recorded those tracks. Mike placement for different delay times, location in the room, different venues to record different tracks.
I saw them play it live a couple of times, it was different each time, and he's got balls to just dig in and and play one guitar line in a song that's so complex. It's cool to me to see him, (and all the band) get into rough spots live, and play their way out of them.

One of my top 2-3 Zep tunes. Great album opener, and it's too bad that album was sandwiched between IV and Graffiti, because it doesn't get the attention it deserves. Kind of like Magical Mystery Tour.

[CHAOS]
This world is a chaos, this life is a chaos CHAOS!!!!!!!
[ATTITUDE]
Live your life
Not the way they taught you
Do what you feel
Survive the jungle
Give me blood
Give me Pain
These scars won't heal
Can you take it
Can you take it
Can you take it
Motherfucker
What were you thinking
What a wonderful world
You're full of shit
Leave it behind
They don't care if you cry
All is left is pain
I won't take it
I won't take it
I won't take it
No

Very well stated. I'm totally envious that you saw Zeppelin live.
