don't insult murder by death by bringing up the name of some chump band like arcade fire into this thread

Just ordered the fancy vinyl version. Hope I can catch their show at the Doug Fir in Portland, the place is awesome.

A girl came in the night She brought me a fever She laid her hands upon my head 'Till I was burning up I woke alone I was still burning The fire was all that was left All that's left of you
It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you
I cut through the brush I followed your scent To find the way to you To find the way to you I traveled through floods Through valley and glade To find my way to you To find my way to you
It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you
I followed a sound That runs in the deep I woke and i found The voice from my sleep The girl waited for me Young and pretty She gave me something cool to drink And that was it for me
It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you It was always you

Sputnikmusic is proud to present an exclusive new track, entitled 'The Day.'
'The Day' is the closing track on Good Morning, Magpie (assuming people still actually listen to albums from start to finish?) and finds the group in imperious form, integrating some of the off-kilter rhythms that made their early albums so distinctive with the more direct, aggressive blues-rock style of Red Of Tooth & Claw. It kicks off with wistful strummed acoustic guitar before taking a sinister turn (typical for this band) with menacing gothic piano chords, while Turla ditches his midwestern brouge for an angry southern soul bellow.
