saw them open for damien rice in montreal a few years back......was incredible.....it was glen's bday and they were balls out....i would have been content to leave after their performance, it was that good, but damo and company came out and did a great acoustic show.....

believe glen was dating lisa hannigan at the time...not sure if they still are....but that alone pretty much makes him a god....

i saw them in portland in april and it was a great show, but not rocking until the encore set, which was great! the crowd was lame, though.
two nights later in seattle was great! probably the best i've seen them and the crowd was really into it (could be because it as 21+ show).

can't wait for the fall tour!

I'm getting to like this band so much, I'm gonna have to give these guys the mullet treatment the next time I go see 'em.

I think I'm in love with this band. Rise is kicking my ass right now.

I'm trying to remember who first got me into these guys. I think it was someone on here, but I could be mistaken.

They're gonna be over there very shortly. I don't understand the need for Swell Season shows, I mean he has Joe &Colm with him anyways, so why not get Johnny&Rob along & do it properly?
spose they're playing to very different crowds now for the time being...the frames would probably scare off Once fans looking for a soft quiet night out..

Swell Season in Santa Monica Saturday night if anyone out there is in the Santa Monica area it seems the Swell Season are going to be playing a "secret" show at McCabes Guitar Shop on Saturday night at 11pm.
