the year of the tiger, champagne year, and cruel are the stand outs for me right now. i really like the guitar sounds on this record as with all her records

I love the arrangements on Surgeon and the title track. Really strong from top to bottom.

I'm listening to "Cruel" right now--pretty excellent. I agree with the comment on the guitar tones--this solo-ish-type thing sounds like someone trying to rev a piece of lawn equipment that just isn't having it. Reminds me of George Harrison's lead part in "Happiness is a Warm Gun."

My wife, however, just came upstairs, and asked what I was listening to. I told her, and she said, "Oh, okay--it just sounded like the kids' Disney Princess Deluxe Mix was skipping."
