I'm really only into traditional carols at Christmas, Christmas-themed modern songs invariably irritate me.

Shut up spenno.

the only christmas songs the convicts sang once they were 'transported' down under were old Irish traditionals, so unless he means them..

In no particular order (except my top two):

Oh holy night
God rest ye merry gentlemen
O come all ye faithful
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Fairytale of New York

Unfortunately, I can't find perfect versions of my top two. The closest are the choral version of 'Oh holy night' and DC Talk's version of 'God Rest...' (yeah, I know, well I like it).

It's so beautiful

I've never ever ever wanted to turn off "Ave Maria" before. Thanks a lot, Chris Cornell.

Holy actual fuck. What the fuck? I mean... what the fuck? FUCK.

What is he doing? What is he doing and who, in their right minds, would think that this music is well produced? Does he have Alzheimer's? There must be a sensible explanation. Or maybe he's just an idiot.

really? after listening to it before, I was walking around the kitchen thinking to myself what they must have done, or the trouble they went through, or the production techniques, or the adjustments/tweaking that was necessary to make it sound that good.

I thought it was extremely well-sung, and the music blended with the voice alot. I like the way it was done like that, I suppose, because, before this, the song could have been sung in Latin for all I knew (ok that part was a joke). But I think if the vocals were CLEARLY sung, it would have taken away from the song.

It made me cry, ok, now shut the :censored: up.

I don't like his version of Billie Jean though. Do you guys?

I don't like his version of anything anymore.

He is dead to me. In 1997.

I dunno...Cornell has certainly done enough total shit over the last few years to give someone posting negatively about him on a message board at least the benefit of the doubt, don't ya think?
