cant remember what came out this year, but since i just said this in another thread, i'm going with Port of Morrow. followed by Apocryphon.

I'd have to look at everything I own that was released this year, but the two albums that come immediately to mind are "Bloom" and "Floratone II" (one of the best projects any member of Pearl Jam has ever been involved with).

I loved Beware on Ex-Military, but I haven't been able to dig anything Death Grips have done since then.

These are all certainly top tier for me:

Brian Eno - Lux

Earth - Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light II

The Caretaker - Patience (After Sebald)

Hey, I'm really liking the sound of the latter. Listening to the samples on Bill's website now. Thanks for the recommendation.

Spenno how would you rate this one against Hex? I love Hex but always thought the following albums were just slightly lesser variations on that record. I still enjoyed records like Bees but thought that I may as well just put on Hex and hear the same thing done a bit better.
