I'm looking for a copy of Natural Child's FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME LP.

If anyone sees this around can you send me PM?

This is the cover:

I found a copy of the LP from Resurrection Records, now this thread is just going to be dedicated to the band. Which means this thread will be buried in a few days, which is sad.

Well, cant help you with the digital junk, but here is the LP for a reasonable price. It actually might come with a download code

Buy it and sell it to other the other tools. You know, complete the circle.

It is on Spotify too, just looked.

Thanks for the link.

I don't know what you are trying to say? I'm looking for a copy of this for myself. No trades. I buy my records to listen to them, not barter.

I actually found a copy from Resurrection Records in California. Hopefully the transaction goes through, I've never ordered from them.

Are you guys fans of the band?

I don't think they suck. They seem to come to town every month or so, but I never get around to seeing them. I'd like to change that sometime soon.

I thought you didn't have a turntable and were just looking for a free digital copy of the album. It does seem hard to find and its a small pressing so I thought maybe you take a chance, buy the album, download the free supplemental files and flip the actual vinyl on ebay or discogs or something.

Nah man. Actually there was a copy up on discogs a few days ago for like 15 bucks, went to buy it and it was gone. Then the only one I could find was on discogs for around 60. The fucking album came out in April 2012, what the fuck? My sister took a trip to Nashville and bought a copy at Grimey's.

I just pre-ordered their new single on opaque lavender vinyl. Comes with custom Natural Child rolling papers. Pretty sweet for 10 bucks. They are dropping a new album in Sept. I have not gotten the chance to see them live, but as soon as they come back through here, I'm there. They've got that great Stones-y, country-tinged sound that I've been into lately.

You live around Tennessee I'm assuming?

All of my vinyl sits on the same shelf. Benaroya smashed between Binaural smashed between Natural Child, JEFF the Brotherhood, Rare White Stripes, Marquee Moon,...I'm not a freak about my shit. I like to listen to it. Use the covers to break up certain plants on. It's a ritual of sorts. I will never sell my collection, unless my family is in complete dire straits.

It's like fucking Christmas to me when I can actually buy a slab of wax.

Gotcha. Yeah, I had to get in on the rolling papers. I had Kings of Leon papers back when Aha Shake came out, they were cool.

Resurrection emailed me and told me I got the last copy. Fuckin' a.

Thanks for the links and help.

jefferydragrecords.bigcartel.com

That's where you can get the 7" and papers if anyone is interested.

They have the singles in opaque lavender, mixed marble, or black.
