Anyone else going to see this tour?
I figure its pretty much my last chance to see any members of the original Pink Floyd live. Supposedly been working on some pretty good visual for the show.
I got tix for Dallas

I caught his solo tour about 10 years ago. Of course about 90% of it was Pink Floyd songs. I'm glad I went but once was enough. That said with the stage show that accompanies this go around, it's tempting. Plus as you mentioned it likely will be the last chance.

I caught that, too, and the Wall stuff was definitely not a highlight. The Amused to Death section surprised me by being hands down the best section of the concert. Since then I've really become a fan of that record, too.

Since I've never been able to see anything but a Floyd laser show, I just have to go. I think Rogers is 66 this year. I'd kick myself if I passed on this waiting for something else to come along and something else never comes. To quote PF lyrics, "And then one day you find ten years have got behind you, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun." Waters and Gilmore aren't going to reconcile and tour again, just don't see it happening.
I had a chance for floor seats but chose the 100 section so I could sit and enjoy the experience, and be able to see it all and try and take it all in. Tix were 200 a piece which is the most I've ever paid for any show, but compared with the cost of my recent 1000 mile road trip to see PJ in KC, this costs less. (although the road trip is part of the fun in seeing PJ

i was really excited for this, but ticket prices (the ones on the pre-sale anyway) are way too high. right now i don't know if i'll make it, i have a bunch of other shows lined up for the summer anyway.

Most definitely. Dogs was another highlight.
Money's tight for me at the moment, so I picked up the cheapest tickets- $55 and fees ($71 total ). We're on the opposite side of the arena and four rows from the back, but I'm in the building. If my $$$ situation improves, I may try for better seats, as I don't see this selling out. You have to shell out at LEAST $125 to even sit in the lower bowl! I know the tour's going to be expensive to produce (it's why the original Wall show was so limited in scope), but I think they're pricing out a LOT of people.
i didn't know about the $55 tix. i may try for those.
yeah, they overshot the pricing i think. i got a late montreal pre-sale email saying i did make it into the pre-sale after all. anyone else have that happen?

Yes. That was awesome. Andy Fairweather Low
I would probably be going, since this will be happening just down the road, but he chose to come a year when I was doing tons of work on my house and when a load of people I've never yet seen (Henry Rollins chief among them) are swinging into town.

Would this be worth going to?
Absolutely. I actually regret not paying more for better seats.
I had a friend who went 3 times, he paid big bucks for 2nd row. I don't get it... You can't see the whole show? Personally, I try and get sit down seats to the side in first set of risers. You can chill and see the whole show on that ginormous wall, and see the bands faces still. Tix were $212 a piece i think. But it was the closest I'll ever get to a floyd show and I had to see it
