Awesome, Awesome cd. I got it earlier today and I can't stop listening. It's defintely one of those that you listen to all the way through.

I like them.

I've heard the new album is a cross between their first two. Any comments on that?

On the first listen I thought Pain was the only good song. They also listed Work on a sticker on the front, but I thought it was just OK. I was disappointed compared to their last album, but I'll have to listen again.

I like the song "Pain" and I hated that song "The Middle"

if the new album is not the "The Middle" I might consider buying it.

I agree Jim. It's a fantastic CD. I saw them play a bunch of the new songs live in San Diego near the end of August, and I was impressed then. Now that I have heard the CD, I remain impressed.

It just takes some time. Little bit of, little bit of alkaline.

yeah it's defintely a cross between Bleed American and Clarity. It's less poppy than Bleed American and a little more dark.

Excellent album. I think I like it more than Bleed American.

i can say with all certainty that i'm a fan of jimmy eat world, but i think this album is terrible... and i saw it coming too b/c i wasn't too thrilled with Bleed American..
clarity and static prevails were in my opinion amazing albums (especially clarity) and to me it just seems that bleed american and futures is just de-evolution for this band b/c i know they're capable of writing sophisticated and well arranged songs.

that being said, there are some pretty good riffs on this latest album, but that doesn't make up for the crappiness of it

I got the double disc set, the one with the second disc being all the demo versions on the song that are on the cd. The demo versions are actually BETTER than the album versions, but both rock an unnatural amount! So don't fret, they're up to 4 GREAT albums and some good eps!
