Kurt Vile was great a week ago.

Seeing a free Jonathan Richman concert in a little over a week.

Kelly Hogan, Reigning Sound and Destroyer in June. Disappears and Pitchfork in July.

Did you end up catching the show? I thought it was amazing. Probably the most technically proficient band I've ever seen.

Glad I only got there at 8:40. That pre-show music was just annoying after about 5 minutes.

Totally missed this post... I did catch it, it was pretty awesome. Agree with the pre-show music...

I have to say, they allowed way too many people into that show... It was hard to find a good line of sight.

Upcoming shows:
Of Monsters and Men (5/30)
Robert Earl Keen (6/6)
Telluride Bluegrass (6/20-6/24)

Just saw Great Lake Swimmers last Saturday.

Eh, different strokes. I'm definitely not one for Drake and that Young Money shit. But Juve put on a fun show, he's long out of Cash Money though.

Lucked into a 4th row ticket for David Byrne and St. Vincent at the Chicago Theatre. And Shellac are doing three 20th anniversary shows next month.

You going to any of those? I really wanted to maybe get out to Chicago for the night Pinebender opens. Or Tar.

Telluride Bluegrass was killer last month. Head For The Hills was great a couple weeks ago as well.

Future shows I may attend:
Old 97's
Tallest Man On Earth
William Elliot Whitmore
Calexico w/ The Dodos
Punch Brothers

I'm going to at least one. Let me know if you end up coming out here.

Gonna take my pops to see The 'Oo in a few months. He wants to watch Zak drum more than hear the music. Big Beatles fan.

And then the local arena I work at part time for shows has Peter Gabriel in October and Neil Young in November.
