"Ladies And Gentlemen, Ashlee Simpson"

(setting: live 5-piece rock band)

Her band starts playing....

All of a sudden her voice appears out of nowhere, out of sync with the music, playing the WRONG vocal track....

Looking surprised, she quickly starts lip-syncing into her cordless microphone...

Suddenly, her voice disappears from the mix...but she is still lip-syncing into the mic...so she looks around and everyone is confused, looking at each other...

Ashlee runs off the stage, embarrassed...

The band keeps playing without vocals...

Sudden cut to commercial.

At the end of the program, she attempted the cover up by claiming that "her band played the wrong song".

Too funny

I saw that last night. I hoarse laughed for 5 mins. I can't believe I don't remember who it is but im pretty sure there is a talk show host who demands that his musical guests sing live and never lip sync. Whoever he is, I really respect that. Whats the point of going and seeing a show if your just going to hear the album anyway.

Its pretty sad when the funniest thing on Saturday night live since Will Ferrel left was Ashley Simpson fucking up her lip sync.

Should be mandatory on all shows with live performances.

Her stupid dancing around was bad enough.
Red faces all around, very funny. At least it was the right show to do it on.

I've wanted to know this for awhile now...

Who is she?

Is she Jessica Simpsons' sister?

it never ceases to amaze me.. a board full of compassionate liberals...

who take such great joy in laughing at the misfortune of others.

You wouldnt laugh at a homeless woman who drops her loaf of bread in a mud puddle.

Just because she has money, doesnt make it right.

Having said that... im a people hating conservative. So i laugh at both.

it was pretty funny yeah, but you are a little bit exaggerating on this one. I don't see her lip-syncing at all. Then she keeps on doing her stupid dancing :? and then see walks off stage

Wow. What a colossal fuck up. And I love how the guitarist on the right is trying not to crack up.
