Foo Fighters are great. Solid, hard rock/pop efforts on every album. I really got into One by One for being a tad more aggressive than previous efforts. The next release should be good and interesting. Dave Grohl is very talented.

God bless,

Jared

If anything, get The Colour & The Shape. You can thank me later.

Though vague, "Monkey Wrench" could be interpreted as the frustrations of a teen whose parents refuse to accept his homosexuality.

God damn. Where do these psychos come up with this shit?

it wasn't hard to figure out once you realize that Stone wrote "Monkey Wrench"

Get the first two albums and pretend that's all they have, otherwise you will be in for a dissapointment.

That, "Wind Up" and "New Way Home" are my 3 favorites from TC&TS.

Yup. Dave Grohl's best band, if you ask me.

I completely agree. There are about 3-4 good tracks on the slower side, and about 7 good tracks on the fast one. If they had combined them, the slow stuff wouldn't have bored me and the harder stuff wouldn't have sounded so tired by the end. It could have been a hell of a record.

i still think it would be their worst record to date if you crammed the "good songs" onto one disc.

I totally agree with this. Still/What if I do/Razor could be added to the first cd (and Cold Day in the Sun if Taylor has to have his moment) to make it a really good cd.

i think the majority of the songs were good, on an individual basis. but, as an album they start to blur. the "hard" songs started to all be the same, and while the acoustic side was good, it wasnt great. its hard to listen to an "okay" acoustic cd for too long.
