"In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" is one of my top 10 albums, no doubt about it. I don't know why, but it consistently has the ability to make me happy, no matter how sour my mood is.
I fucking love Jeff Mangum, so my question is where the hell is he? I know he had a "mental breakdown" after the Aeroplane tour concluded, but it's been a good 7 years since then. Where is the man who has put a smile on my face many times, the man who hoped to make music with healing power and suceeded admirably? I feel like he needs a hug.
Can't find any recent news on him, except for the fact that he was spotted at a Marbles gig in Brooklyn this past March.
Someone hook up an address, phone number, something.
Although, from this article, it seems that he just wishes to be left alone. I wish he'd just put out something: a record, a website, a sign of life.

I went to their website a while ago, and from what I can remember it said he was writing a book of short stories. And he was working with a circus or something
Damn it Jeff, fuck the elephants, make another album!

Yeah, that page hasn't been updated since the 90's or something. I'm surprised they've kept it up this long.
I think he's got serious emotional issues, and I tend to believe he really hated becoming a "celebrity."

going with my buddy who saw neutral milk in athens when he was in college there. He turned me onto them when we met in the early 2000's so really looking forward to this.
