Great "within your reach"

Dct.....you ever listen to the replacements? I think you'd love....

Actually, you know... I never have. Guess, I know what's next in line.

Oh man.....I hope to be around for your ride....let me know when it begins.

Should I start at the start?

I'll try to download it tonight. And give it a spin sometime tomorrow or Saturday. Exciting!

Just know that Tom Waits has deemed the rpelacements/westerberg worthy of his musical presence...

Dude! Did you know that Colin Meloy of The Decemberists (one of my other favorite bands) wrote a book about Let It Be for the 33 1/3 book series?!

If this fucking thing is good enough for Strat and Waits AND Meloy, color me all types of on-board!

Thats cool! I did not know that. Would be interested in reading that. I love reading stories about the 80's post punk/alt rock scene.

I know you will love the replacements. ITs a journey as well...

Paul westerberg gets in your blood....the fucker is a genius that hates his talents and has become a jaded old crusty man. Good shit.

For the life of me, I can't get this thing to play. I've got it downloaded. But it won't open in iTunes and I can't find another way to play it. Hmm.....

I've got Let It Be and Tim...both of which are pretty awesome (and also Pleased to Meet Me). If I remember correctly, I downloaded them based on Strat's adoration. I also tried to download his solo stuff and failed...torrents would never take.

What's going on here? Has there been a Westerberg sighting?

Don't you worry, buddy. I'll win. I'll win even if I have to PAY for the album!

—Replacements frontman Paul Westerberg is notoriously guarded with his image and did not participate in this film and, according to his manager, is working on his own film about the band

God, they were such a great GREAT band back in the day! I'd prolly recommend starting with Let It Be. Tim is also VERY good! I'm still very partial to Pleased To Meet Me though. Probably my fav! Damn, I can't say enough good things about Don't Tell A Soul too... 'We'll Inherit The Earth' is soooo fucking good, ya know?

It used to be, that if there was all shit coming out that wasn't any good, you could ALWAYS fall back on, and rely on these guys to come out with stellar albums. And I mean EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. that they came out with a new album!

God I miss that... They were that kind of band! Kinda like Husker Du was also...
