This ain't no hard rock band, folks. I'm sure there are just as many people here who would hate this group as love them. (which is one of the great things about RM)

Their latest release Push Barman To Open Old Wounds is absolutely amazing, best release of the year by far. It's a collection of all their EP's from when they were on the Jeepster label, or something like that.

If you like bands like (YHF, AGIB era) Wilco, Beatles, Crowded House, early The Cure, Stone Roses, you need to give Belle and Sebastian a shot. Wonderful, wonderful band.

I've only really listened to "Dear Catastrophe Waitress," though I have "Tigermilk" and "Fold Your Hands..". DCW is a fun album, really mellow.

"Step Into My Office" = t3h rawkz

I own Dear Catastrophe Waitress and I love every second of it.

Am I the only one that thinks that "Stay Loose" is the best song on the album? That guitars solo hits me everytime I listen to it.

Great band. Nice, unconventional pop for anytime listening. I really like B&S.

one of my favorite bands. a friend got me into them because she knew i liked syd barrett and psychedelic pop. i only own 'if your feeling sinister' and 'dear catastrophe waitress', the former being my hands down favorite. i'll certainly check out this new collection.

I love this band. I know fans are pretty picky about their records, but there's not a-one that I don't love.

She was into S&M and Bible studies
Not everyone's cup of tea, she would admit to me.

Yes that's another brilliant part of B&S, their lyrics.

Even if you're just a casual fan, Push Barman to Open Old Wounds is the thing to get. I'd reccomend that over any of their albums for a starting point.

Push Barman is a great collection of songs, nice sunny, easy listening pop.

And I made a thread on this album last week and recieved 0 replies :x

The Boy with the Arab Strap is their best album, IMO...

"Sleeps the Clock Around" is an amazing song.

If you guys are into B&S, check out the band "Aberfeldy"
