CD store was having a Buy-3-Get-The-4th-Free sale, so I figured I'd take a risk with the free one and bought The Great Annihilator by Swans. They're mentioned in the DGC liner notes in Sonic Youth's EVOL, I don't have the exact quote, but it's like

"I asked the manager to show us the good music and he took us to SWANS and SONIC YOUTH"

So, anyone here like these guys? Tell me what you think, I haven't even listened to the album yet.

White Light From the Mouth of Infinity =

That's pretty much all I can say at the moment. Their CDs seem awfully hard to come by these days.

not quite an RM oversight, but the lack of discussion is still something to blush over.

i've got My Father Will Guide Me Up a Rope to the Sky on. Seeing them the night before my birthday, and there are few creeps with whom I'd share the eve of my birthday than Michael Gira (Spike being an obvious exception). i still haven't properly listened to The Seer, (but i got it on vinyl right when it came out)--have you?
