Yeah I like it. Some of the lyrics are a bit weak, but the music kicks ass.

Well the music kicks my ass, but that's not my ass. I'll ask her and let you know.

Repeat thread, but anyway, as I have said before...

Best album of 2004 so far and the most impressive live act at Curiosa.

I saw her live, and she was the WORST act I have ever seen live. I mean, some bands may not have been as good as her, but she had so much pretense and reputation.....and she sucked shit.

the first song is awesome but the rest didn't really catch my attention. maybe i should listen again but considering the musicians she used it should have been much better i thought

She just was very...unenergetic. Her songs just weren't anything that made you want to get into it. She also tried dancing (poorly), and put on her fauxsexy look, which I find very unnattractive. Not quite repulsive, but close. And she was sloppy, very sloppy, actually stopping one of her solo songs because she dropped her pick and needed to get another one. But I was lost long before that.

I've seen her live and yeah, it was kinda bad.

The record is good when you're not expecting too much. The lyrics are pretty poor but the music is powerful. I have a feeling she didn't even write 50% of the music herself, considering the guest appearences (Josh Homme, lots of APC guys... the list goes on). I'm wondering what she'll next. As an artist, she does have potential, but she still has a lot of maturing to do.
