I'm listening to "Introducing Herman's Hermits" right now on vinyl...sweet lord these guys are freaking awesome. "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter" might be the ultimate feel good song of the summer. If you love Belle and Sebastian, check out the originals...

I got their Greatest Hits vol 2 cd at a 99 cents store, and its pretty good,Their sound became a little more serious by then, though (like "I Understand").

the turtles did happy together, i mean if you want a good first step their 20 greatest hits album sums it all up, i'd download that then buy the albums from there on if you like it

Herman's Hermits are my dad's favorite band. (He's 67) When I was about 15, he took me to see a triple bill of H.H., The Turtles and The Monkees because he thought I was getting too into the Dead.
Herman's Hermits aren't bad on record I guess, but it's awful stuff live. Pops had a great time though.
