I think the album is brilliant. Easily the most diverse thing Layne ever did and it works extremely well. I wish those 2 "AIC-ish" songs weren't on there because I thought it took away from the overall feel of the album.
Long Gone Day, November Hotel, Wake Up, Artificial Red..goddamn is that record good.

You gotta love above, it took me months to get past "Wake Up" but for the real deal, i would hunt down the Mad Season Live @ the Moore vid, I was lucky enough to get a dvd rip off ebay that's pretty decent, but even if you happen to find the vhs, snatch it up and make an extra copy justincase "November Hotel"

I think its a strong record overall. I heard "River of Deciet" on DC 101 last night, and I seared for my copy and couldn't find it.

Tonight I am gonna watch the Mad Season show from 4/29/95...I am really excited. Especailly after watching the rehearsal for this show last night. Absolutly awesome!

I recently picked this up and it's fucking hot! It's sad that one-half of the band is no longer around. Baker Saunders ripped on the bass.

The first time I ever listend to this CD, I rented it from the public library. I walked past it and the artwork rung a bell so I stopped and checked it out. Good thing I did.

I got it a few months ago and I love it. It sounds so much like classic rock and really showcases Layne's and Mike's abilities. Two Thumbs Up.

Flies has one flaw. The last song on the ep. Mad Season however has no flaws.

Mad Season ftw.
